Who Ivy Carter? The cutest celebrity toddlers are still Harper and Gideon Burtka-Harris. I want that bathing cap a little bit.
Meredith and i were brainstorming what she could bring to an upcoming potluck that she wouldn’t actually have to cook, since it’s taking place right in the middle of moving out of an apartment that had a less-than-ideal kitchen to begin with. I figured there must be all sorts of posts on trendy food or lifestyle blogs about no-cook potluck ideas. I was thinking, like, a bag of clementines. Cheese and bread. Olives. Some fancy chocolate. Things of that nature. Instead, we found so many better suggestions, all from one single user on a Yahoo forum. She suggests:
Cheese balls (already made) and crackers from the store. Just buy a cheese … and a box of Ritz or Wheatables or whatever crackers you like. The choice is rather endless.
Tuna, ham salad, and egg salad… are delicious on bread, buns, or croissants. All can be purchased from the store… Take items and let your co-workers create their own sandwiches. You supply the knife. (Can be plastic) [Ed note: safety first]
You can purchase pizza from a pizzeria. You could even purchase spaghetti from them… you do not have to buy large amounts as people will just sample. (Usually).
There are fresh fruits available that can be cut up for a fruit salad. All you need are strawberries, grapes, and melon (any kind).
Stop at KFC and get a bucket of chicken.
Go to a sub shop such as Jersey Mike’s, Subway, or Quizno’s and purchase a couple of their giant subs.
Call a restaurant for carry out of BBQ or Buffalo wings.
The sniffliest Simpsons moment.
